We have a dedicated SEND team at New Moston Primary who are committed to meeting the needs of all pupils with additional needs. If your child is identified as having Special Educational Needs and/or a Disability (SEND), a SENCo will be allocated to them.

 

The SEND team in school is as follows:-

SEN Manager/ Deputy HeadMrs Mitchell (NASENCo qualification holder)

Medical needs and HLTA- Mrs Ross

SENCo and Year 1/2 Teacher - Mrs Wilson 

SENCo and Year 4 Teacher- Miss Lawson

SENCo and 5/6 Teacher - Miss Swapp

SENCo and Year 6 Teacher- Mrs Bradshaw  

 

Supporting SENCos

Ms Richards- LKS2 Assistant Headteacher and Year 3 Teacher

Mrs Munro- Year 4 Teacher

 

We are supported weekly by an Art Therapist, a Theraplay therapist and a Speech and Language Therapist.
