Relationship, Sex & Health Education
In September 2020 the teaching of Relationship and Health Education became compulsory in primary schools. In addition to this all primary schools need to have a Sex Education policy. At New Moston Primary School we have a Relationship and Sex Education policy (RSE) with a detailed long term plan outlining all intended learning throughout school. Human reproduction is covered by the Science Curriculum which is compulsory.

Our parents and carers consultation took place in early May 2021 I am proud to say that we have had nothing but support from our parents and carers; thank you. At New Moston Primary School we feel that it is vital that home and school work in partnership to ensure that our children are getting the same message and that they feel secure in asking for help when they need it.
