Lunchtime Organiser

Overview

Do you enjoy working with children and supporting their wellbeing? Are you reliable, caring, and ready to play a part in helping our pupils feel happy, safe, and included during the school day?

At New Moston Primary School, we are a proud and inclusive community, rooted in the values of Growth, Standards, Attitude, and Pride.

We are looking for a friendly, proactive, and responsible Lunchtime Organiser to join our team and help ensure a positive and safe lunchtime experience for all children.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise children during lunchtime in the hall, on the playground, or in the classroom (as needed).

  • Support positive behaviour and play, encouraging inclusion and participation.

  • Assist with the smooth running of lunch routines including lining up, eating, and clearing away.

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times.

  • Report concerns or incidents to the senior lunchtime team or designated staff.

  • Promote the school’s values through kindness, encouragement, and consistency

  • Someone who enjoys working with children and understands how to build positive relationships.

  • A calm, confident communicator who can supervise with fairness and care.

  • Someone reliable and punctual, who works well as part of a team.

Salary & Benefits

 

  • Grade 2 | SCP 3–5 hourly rate (£11.59 – £11.98 per hour)

  • 1 hour per day (typically 12:00–1:00pm), term time only

  • Supportive team and training provided

  • A valued role contributing to the wellbeing of our school community
