Challenge Partners

What is Challenge Partners?

Challenge Partners is an external school improvement review carried out by a lead reviewer who is an Ofsted inspector, alongside a team of experienced headteachers from other schools. The purpose is to provide an independent view of a school’s strengths, progress, and next steps for improvement.

Why do we use Challenge Partners?

At New Moston Primary School, improvement is a priority for both governors and school leaders. Since the last Ofsted inspection, staff have worked extremely hard to strengthen many areas of school life.

Challenge Partners helps us to:

• check the impact of our improvement work

• gain honest, professional feedback

• identify strengths and areas to develop further

• ensure governors have clear external evidence to support the school’s direction

Our improvement journey

We are proud of the progress and achievements recognised through this review. While we are clear that there is still further development to do, the report confirms that the school is moving in the right direction and that improvements are having a positive impact for our children.
