New Moston v Mount Carmel

Our final match of the season ended in a 0-0 draw with Mount Carmel. It was well fought match against tough opposition; the boys persevered in the cold weather, we saw a near miss by Eli, one of our best chances of the match, and were kept in the game with two second half, goal line clearances by James.

New Moston vs Christ The King

We played against Christ The King on the astro at St Matthews. The team played brilliantly especially in the second half after a rousingly motivational speech by Mr Philips at half time.

Josh scored in the second half, much to the delight of the families that had come to support the team.

Final score: Christ The King 6-1 New Moston

Thank you to Mr Philips for leading our team and inspiring them to be resilient and confident.

New Moston vs St Anne’s

We played at FC United against St Anne’s RC Primary School (Crumpsall)

The other team scored early but our team showed great spirit and Jayden equalised late into the second half.

An amazing team performance from our football team tonight in their defeat to Moston Fields.

The first match of the season for our Year 5 boys, against tough local opposition, ended 4-1 with our goal coming from Eli.

We are looking forward to the rest of the season, getting some training in before the rest of our matches in the New Year.
